In the Rio Grande Valley, there is a competitive regional awards show that takes place in McAllen, TX called The Palms Awards which shines a spotlight on a wide range of high school theatre productions across all over the region.

In May of 2022, I was honored with the rest of the Rowe Theatre cast and crew for our production of Little Shop of Horrors. Due to our Best Production nomination, we also performed on the main stage at the McAllen Performing Arts Center. As a mic operator for the original production, I also ran the mics for our segment in the ceremony where we performed a medley.
