During this production, I oversaw the sound department and mentored two apprentices. Despite the short duration of the musical, I ensured that my team stayed engaged and prepared. I provided training on cue-based show management software such as QLab, as well as instruction on the proper use of the Soundcraft Si Expression sound system and microphones. By the conclusion of the three-week camp, my team was proficient in independently running the show, handling cue calls and execution while I managed the sound levels. Additionally, I conducted post-editing to enhance the audio captured by the camera’s microphone for the video recording.
